JOB DESCRIPTION
Locally owned and operated plumbing company seeking a fully licensed Journeyman that is highly driven and self-motivated to join our growing team. He or She should also be able to diagnose problems, troubleshoot systems and collaborate with other contractors when required. As a growing company, we are faced with many different last-minute obstacles, so we ask our licensed plumbers to be flexible with transitioning from different jobs. Example: commercial, residential, new construction and of course service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
– Well organized
– Maintain a clean and neat and safe work area
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work as part of a team & independently
– 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Journeyman
– Always dependable and reliable
– Must be able to trouble shoot & problem-solve
– Pre-employment background check & initial/random drug tests
– Must have high standard of integrity and pride in workmanship
– Ability to operate all necessary tools & equipment
– Strong written skills
– Ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers and fellow employees
– Heavy lifting
– Working knowledge of all plumbing materials, tools, and equipment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Installation of pipes, drainage system, sinks, toilets, etc.
– Testing systems for leaks and other problems
– Observe Health and Safety codes at all times
– Water Treatment Systems
– Water & Sewer line repair & replacements
– Ability to make detailed notations regarding manufacturer information
– Ensure customer satisfaction during & upon completion of the job
– Water Heater troubleshooting, repair & replacement
– Ability to effectively communicate with customers, office, and other employees
– Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
– Ability to perform all other duties assigned
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
– Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required)
– Journeyman Plumber’s License (Gas and Plumbing) (Required)
– Backflow Certification (Preferred)
SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
30 Minute Lunch Break
Rotating On-call Weekends
Overtime may be required
